The space is used as a store, showroom, storage and a studio/work space.

Description

The main driving force for the design was the use of raw materials the same way we use them in our products.

The second part that highly influenced the design process was a budget restriction of around 500 euros. The last consideration was a possible temporary use of this interior which lead to trying to minimize permanent structural changes to the room. The system is designed as a hanging set of shelves of two sizes to achieve modular building system. The use of nuts allows for height adjustment even after the building process is finished and therefore it is easy to adjust the gaps between the shelves in the future based on new products. The whole storage system was built within 3 days and it consisted of cutting the board panels to the desired formats, drilling holes, fastening the wooden beams under the ceiling and lastly fixing the shelves with threaded rods and nuts. Parts of the system that reach the ground are also fixed with flat headed screws that are screwed from the bottom and act as a brace.
